The Collaborative supports these nonprofits statewide with capacity building through professional development, direct services, and the Growing Household Income VISTA project. This project affords North Carolina nonprofits the opportunity to host an AmeriCorps VISTA and increase their capacity to work against poverty in our state.
AmeriCorps VISTA
The advocacy arm of The Collaborative, the NC Assets Alliance, is a statewide asset-building coalition comprised of more than 200 member organizations representing all areas of economic improvement. Governed by a member-elected steering committee, the group meets quarterly to set an annual policy agenda and mobilize its members throughout the state.
