Bronwyn Lucas is the Deputy Director of Programs & Services for the national organization, The Center for Black Health & Equity. She has a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Bronwyn has dedicated her career to working for various nonprofit organizations with a focus on empowerment, leadership, and health equity. In addition to her deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, she is also no stranger to national public service. She served two terms as a VISTA (1996 in Massachusetts and 1997 in North Carolina), graduated from NC Public Allies (1998), and served as the AmeriCorps campus recruiter while at UNC-CH (1998-2000). Bronwyn has two adult sons and lives in Raleigh with her husband.
